Coco-Nutty Energy Bites

Happy October!

I am so excited to share this month’s raw superfood treat with you!

In celebration of the season, I’ve created an immune-boosting snack that will help keep your body free and clear of seasonal bugs while also giving you sweet spicy flavors. This is a super easy treat to make and it will be celebrated by adults and kids!

 

Ingredients:

½ cup almonds

½ cup walnuts

2 tablespoons cacao powder

2 tablespoons coconut oil

2 tablespoons coconut sugar

1 tablespoon astragalus

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

1-2 medjool dates

1-2 tablespoons cacao nibs (mix separately by hand)

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together in a high-performance blender or food processor EXCEPT the cacao nibs. Process until smooth, but not oily. Mix in cacao nibs by hand. Roll into balls or spread into a small pan, like fudge. Chill to set. Serve and enjoy!
